Dhaka stocks inch up

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) opened slightly higher today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, rose 10 points, or 0.15 per cent, to 6,570 at 11:45 pm. Turnover stood at Tk 893 crore.

Of the securities, 69 advanced, 181 declined, and 119 did not show any price movement.
