ISACA Dhaka Chapter to join global volunteer drive on CommunITy Day

The Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Dhaka Chapter will take part in the seventh annual CommunITy Day today, joining thousands of volunteers worldwide in a coordinated day of service.

The global initiative, led by ISACA – a professional association with more than 185,000 members in digital trust fields – mobilises chapters, staff and community partners to contribute to local causes, according to a press release.

In Dhaka, members will gather at the ISACA Chapter Office in Niketon before setting out for activities, including an awareness walk, a drive for blood donation and park and street clean‑ups.

ISACA, which has 228 chapters worldwide, says the event underscores its commitment to advancing the positive potential of technology while giving back to communities.

In 2024, more than 7,200 volunteer hours were logged by 109 teams across 45 countries.
