25 Bangladesh-based companies win big at Tally MSME Honours 2023

The event had the presence of several dignitaries including Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury, President - Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI); Siddhartho Goushami, Operations Team Lead - Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA); Amit Kumar - Country Head, Bangladesh - State Bank of India, Secretary General, India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI); Nasima Aktar Nisha, President - Women and e-Commerce forum (WE); Farkhunda Jabeen Khan - Treasurer, Bangladesh Women Chamber Of Commerce And Industry (BWCCI); Engr. Subrata Sarkar – President, Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS); and Imran Kadir - Head of Sales & Marketing, The Daily Star, Deputy National President, JCI Bangladesh. All these guest speakers emphasized the contributions of MSMEs in the economy, and how recognitions like MSME Honours by Tally would encourage and motivate them to work wonders.

Tally MSME Honours is an annual initiative to identify businesses and entrepreneurs for their contribution to the economic advancement of the nation. The honours recognize and celebrate the diversity and the positive impact of MSMEs through their best practices at the grass root level. This makes it an inclusive recognition to ensure that the real impact makers across the tiers of cities, segments and the unsung heroes driving the economy are celebrated. These honours are given out once a year on the occasion of International MSME Day and apply to all types of Micro, Small, and Medium businesses.

Celebrated in India, UAE, Indonesia, and Kenya. The honours are given across 5 categories:

  • Business Maestro: Recognising stalwarts who have withstood the test of time and continue to grow.

  • Champion of Cause: Recognising businesses that have contributed towards a better purpose for global wellbeing
