Bangladesh Strategy Summit 2023 held in Dhaka

The Bangladesh Strategy Summit 2023, a prominent initiative by Valor of Bangladesh, successfully convened industry experts, business leaders, and policymakers on September 2nd and 3rd, 2023, at the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden. This summit, presented by Mutual Trust Bank, powered by Sajida Foundation and Haileybury Bhaluka in association with The Daily Star and supported by The City Bank, provided a vital platform for dialogue and strategy development focused on Advanced Economic Sustainability.

This year's summit boasted an impressive lineup of speakers, including luminaries such as Mr. Syed Mahbubur Rahman (MD & CEO, Mutual Trust Bank Ltd.), Mr. Ali Reza Iftekhar (MD & CEO, Eastern Bank Ltd.), Zara Mahbub (CEO, Dun & Bradstreet Data & Analytics), Shamima Akhter (CEO, Unilever Bangladesh Ltd.), Farzanah Chowdhury (MD & CEO, Green Delta Insurance), and many others. Since its inception in 2021, the summit has played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within Bangladesh.

The focal point of the Bangladesh Strategy Summit 2023 was Economic Resilience and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Mr. Najmus Ahmed Albab, Executive Director, and Anis A. Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees of Valor of Bangladesh, expressed their gratitude to the panelists, participants, and audience for their invaluable contributions to the summit. Mr. Albab emphasized the role of good corporate governance in enhancing sustainability and effective leadership. Mr. Anis Khan underscored the urgency of addressing climate change issues, emphasizing that Bangladesh is not immune to global climate crises and the need for strategic adaptation to prevent future losses.
