Bangladesh University (BU) observed World Pharmacists Day 2025 with a series of events, including a rally, discussion, and awareness campaign under the global theme "Think Health, Think Pharmacist."

Speakers highlighted that pharmacists today play vital roles beyond drug management - contributing to policymaking, research, and preventive care. They stressed the importance of integrating pharmacists into healthcare strategy and community awareness initiatives.

Participants included S. M. Abdur Rahman, advisor, Department of Pharmacy; Md. Tajul Islam, dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics; Abul Kalam Azad, chairman of the Department of Pharmacy; and Rubaiyat Saimum Chowdhury, student welfare advisor.

Faculty, students, and alumni joined hands in public engagement activities reaffirming the university's commitment to producing skilled and ethical pharmacists for Bangladesh's healthcare system.
