Baywatch Cox's Bazar named 'South Asia's Best New Beach Hotel' by SATA

The recognition marks a first for Bangladesh’s hospitality sector at the prestigious event

Hotel Baywatch Cox's Bazar has been named South Asia's Leading Beach Hotel/Resort and South Asia's Best New Beach Hotel/Resort at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2025.

The awards were presented during the regional ceremony held on September 19–20 at Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Sri Lanka. The recognition marks a first for Bangladesh's hospitality sector at the prestigious event, which brought together leading tourism and hospitality brands from across South Asia.

Speaking at the programme, SATA President Ismail Hameed said, "It is truly commendable that Baywatch has achieved such international standards of hospitality within its very first year of establishment. This achievement is not only for Baywatch but also for the entire tourism industry of Bangladesh, and we believe it sets a new benchmark in South Asian hospitality."

With the double recognition at SATA 2025, Baywatch Beach Hotel & Spa has strengthened its position in the regional hospitality industry while promoting Cox's Bazar, home to the world's longest sea beach, as a global travel destination.

It is noteworthy that Baywatch, located in Inani, Cox's Bazar, started its journey in 2024. With world-class accommodation, fine dining plus banquet, wellness experiences, and exceptional guest services, the hotel has secured a distinguished position both nationally and internationally within just a year.
