BSHRM-Guardian Life 9th International HR Conference-2022 to be held on November 25

Bangladesh Society for Human Resources Management (BSHRM) organised a press conference on November 5 (Saturday), 2022 at The Daily Star Centre on their biggest event of the year "BSHRM-Guardian Life 9th International HR Conference 2022" which will be held on November 25, (Friday), 2022 at Sheraton @ Dhaka, 44 Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, Dhaka-1213. Guardian Life Insurance is the title sponsor of this conference.

Anthony Ariganello, FCPA, FCGA, FCCA, CPHR, CGMA, ICD.D, President of World Federation of Peoples Management Association (WFPMA) and Chief Executive Officer, CPHR BC, YK AND APHR CANADA will be present virtually as a Guest of Honor. Willium (Bob) Morton, Immediate Past President of World Federation of Peoples Management Association (WFPMA) and Dhammika Fernando, Executive General Manager of Tropical Findings (Pvt.) Ltd. and Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management, Executive Board Member of World Federation of Peoples Management Association (WFPMA) will be available as the Key Note Speaker of the Conference. Apart from these, a number of foreign veteran HR professionals will be attending as well in the conference. The conference will be a great melting pot for a large number of global and local HR leaders, corporate CEOs, renowned HR & Management professionals of different business segments, academicians, students of the universities and other stakeholders. We are expecting around 500 participants (both HR and Non-HR professionals) from home and abroad to actively participate in the event.

Chairman of BSHRM-Guardian Life 9th International Human Resources Conference 2022 and General Secretary of BSHRM Mr M Nazrul Islam presided over the meeting, President of BSHRM, Mr Md. Mashequr Rahman Khan and Patron of the conference gave a welcome speech. Mr GM Sharif Conference Secretary and Life Fellow of BSHRM and Guardian Life International Human Resources Conference–was present and addressed. Mr Md. Mashequr Rahman Khan demanded a separate Ministry of Human Resources of Bangladesh like other countries of the world including India and Malaysia. Apart from this, he proposed to enact the "Bangladesh Employment Act" or to change the Bangladesh Labor Act and name it as "Bangladesh Employment and Labor Act" to ensure the legal rights of all professionals in the country.

The conference Chair and the General Secretary of BSHRM in a speech analysed the content of the conference by referring to various aspects of the conference. The overall supervision of this press conference was done by Mr Mohammad Riyad Hossain Chief Human Resource Officer, Daraj, Dhaka, and all coordination was done by Mr Md. Muttakin Hasan Convener, Media Press and Publication Committee.

In this press conference Mr Habib Chowdhury, SVP & Head of HR, Guardian Life Insurance Limited and Mr Rubayat Saleheen, Head of Marketing and Communication, Senior Vice President Guardian Life Insurance Limited were also present on behalf of Guardian Life Insurance Limited — Bangladesh. Along with other speakers highlighted the perspective of this International Human Resource Conference and the role of human resource development and answered various questions from the journalists.
