bti Managing Director F R Khan was present on the occasion. Also, chief officials of the two institutions and journalists from various media were present.

'bti The Daily Star Stellar Women' is an initiative to honour emerging, young and promising women from various walks of life who are making outstanding contributions to the nation and society.

In this event, 12 women in 12 categories will be honoured throughout the year. In continuation of that, the award was given to the winner of 'Stellar Woman' in the 'Technology Sector' category for the month of February. F R Khan, Managing Director of bti and Raffat Binte Rashid, Features Editor of The Daily Star presented the award to Tasfia Tasbin, CEO & Founder of 'Markopolo AI' in this category.

Markopolo provides cost-effective and quality digital marketing services to various small and medium-sized businesses through language-based AI models. All women entrepreneurs who want to scale up their businesses will benefit from Markopolo.

After receiving the award, Tasfia Tasbin said in her welcome speech, "In such a triumphant time of AI, I want to raise Bangladesh's name on the world stage by holding Markopolo's hand. In our country, where women's participation in the technology sector is relatively low, with Markopolo, I and my team have come a long way and have a long way to go."
