BUFT Social Welfare Club distributes winter clothes in Thakurgaon 

The collected funds were used to purchase blankets, jackets, and sweaters, which were distributed to approximately 7,000 local residents during the event.  

The Social Welfare Club of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) has brought warmth and relief to the cold-stricken residents of Debipur, Thakurgaon Sadar, by distributing winter clothes to those in need. 

This initiative, aimed at supporting underprivileged communities in northern Bangladesh, was made possible through contributions from BUFT's Board of Trustees, students, faculty members, and administrative staff.  

The collected funds were used to purchase blankets, jackets, and sweaters, which were distributed to approximately 7,000 local residents during the event.

The distribution program was attended by prominent figures, including Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of BUFT; Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Acting Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor of BUFT; Prof. Dr. Engr. Mohammed Rubaiyat Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Apparel Studies; and Md. Majibur Rahman, Director of Planning & Development, along with other local dignitaries.  

Members of the BUFT Social Welfare Club, under the leadership of their president, Md. Shihabur Rahman, played a pivotal role in organizing and executing this noble initiative. Their efforts showcased BUFT's dedication to community welfare and its commitment to addressing societal challenges.
