BUP partners with IDP IELTS to empower students' global aspirations

Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IDP Education Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd. to enhance educational opportunities for its students and faculty.

This collaboration aims to provide specialised IELTS preparation workshops, seamless registration services, and a dedicated test venue, supporting academic and professional growth.

Brig Gen Md Rabbi Ahsan, NDC, PSC, Registrar of BUP, and B M Mahbubul Alam Razib, Country Director of IDP Education Bangladesh, signed the MoU. The ceremony, conducted by Major Raza Zahir Khan, PSC, Programme Coordinator of the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), BUP, and Brig Gen Rashed Iqbal, NDC, PSC, G, MPhil, Dean of CML, underscored the importance of this initiative in aligning with global education standards.

As part of this partnership, IDP's expert trainers will conduct IELTS preparation workshops to equip students with key strategies for success. The collaboration will also introduce an on-campus registration service, allowing students to sign up for the exam directly from the university. Additionally, BUP will serve as an official IELTS test center, ensuring accessible and reliable testing facilities for its community.

This initiative marks a significant step toward expanding global academic and career opportunities for BUP students and faculty.
