BWJA gets new committee

Syeda Hosne Ara Begum, senior district judge, and Farjana Yesmin, additional metropolitan sessions judge of Dhaka, have been elected president and general secretary of the Bangladesh Women Judges Association.

The decision to form a new 35-member committee was made at the 34th Annual Conference of the Bangladesh Women Judges Association, held today at Judicial Administration Training Institute (JATI) in the capital, said a press release.

Former justice Nazmun Ara Sultana of Appellate Division was present as chief guest.

Retired Appellate Division justices Zinat Ara, Krishna Debnath, and High Court Justice Farah Mahbub were present as special guests.
