Chattogram Research and Innovation Festival to be held Feb 26

The second Chattogram Research and Innovation Festival 2025, is set to take place at Chittagong University on February 26.

Jointly organised by the Jamal Nazrul Islam Research Center for Mathematical and Physical Sciences and the Chittagong University Research and Higher Study Society, the festival will be held at the Shaheed Minar premises of the university.

Around 100 schools, colleges, university departments, research laboratories, and various institutions from Chattogram and beyond are expected to participate, according to the organisers.

According to the press release, the festival aims to promote research and innovation, encourage students and researchers, and showcase new ideas. It will bring together researchers, scientists, educators, students, and environmentalists from across the country.

A key highlight of the event will be the "Science Talk", where leading researchers will discuss contemporary research topics, it said.

At the closing ceremony, winners of the Jamal Nazrul Islam Research Award will be announced, with awards presented in seven categories, according to the organisers.
