The 15th General Conference of "Association of the Universities of Asia and the Pacific" (AUAP) was held in Dhaka. On the last day of the three-day conference, more than 100 MoUs were signed among about 30 universities. The closing ceremony was organised at Daffodil Smart City in Ashulia, Dhaka. In the ceremony, the newly elected president of AUAP and the founder and chairman of Daffodil International University Dr Md. Sabur Khan welcomed all guests and expected that AUAP would now work towards ushering in learning futures post-pandemic. Dr Biswajit Chanda, Member of Bangladesh University Grant Commision, was present as the chief guest of the event. He said that since AUAP includes universities from beyond Asia Pacific, it is good to see MOUs and exchanges being done, and there can be a lot of collaborative efforts in studies and research on 4IR technologies and their social applications.
