Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan hosts “Joy of Giving” Charity Dinner

Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan has hosted its annual charity event, the "Joy of Giving" Charity Dinner, marking IHG Hotels & Resorts' global Giving for Good Month - an initiative promoting compassion, philanthropy, and community service across its properties worldwide.

The charity evening combined fine dining and entertainment with a social cause, aimed at supporting underserved communities and advancing sustainable development.

Guests enjoyed an international buffet curated by Executive Chef Mohammad Khawaldeh, accompanied by live performances from the Cassette band, stand-up comedy acts, and a cultural showcase by children from Mojar School.

All proceeds from the event will go towards Mojar School, an initiative of the Odommo Bangladesh Foundation, which provides education and support to economically challenged children. The hotel is also contributing to the development of the Odommo Bangladesh Children's Village in Bhaluka, Mymensingh - a project that includes residences, classrooms, and essential facilities for disadvantaged children.

The event was held on September 30, 2025, from 7pm to 10pm at Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan.

Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan extended its appreciation to its partners - Incepta Pharmaceuticals, Latest Garments Ltd, Kalyar Packaging Ltd, and City Bank PLC - as well as to the children and teachers of Mojar School. The evening highlighted a shared commitment to compassion, collaboration, and creating opportunities for a brighter future.
