Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan organises charity marathon

Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan has organised a charity marathon as part of IHG Hotels & Resorts' "Giving for Good Month", a global initiative promoting kindness, well-being, and community support.

The event, titled "Run for Charity: A Meaningful Marathon", began early Friday morning from Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan and followed a symbolic route through the Gulshan area.

Participants gathered at 5:30 AM, with the marathon starting at 5:50 AM. A certificate ceremony was held at the hotel's 25th floor ballroom, followed by breakfast.

Organisers said the initiative was aimed at spreading compassion and encouraging social responsibility while promoting health and wellness.

Giving for Good Month is observed globally by IHG each September, encouraging colleagues, partners and communities to engage in charitable activities.
