CRP opens branch in Manikganj

The authorities of the Centre for Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed (CRP) today launched its new branch in Manikganj.

State Minister for Social Welfare Md Ashraf Ali Khan inaugurated it through a programme in the town's West Dashra area.

CRP Executive Director Dr Mohammad Sohrab Hossain presided over the inaugural ceremony that was addressed, among others, by CRP founder Valerie A Taylor and Director General of the Bureau of NGO Affairs of the Prime Minister's Office KM Tariqul Islam.

Sohrab said the construction of a two-storey building was completed at a cost Tk 10.29 crore. The government spent Tk 8 crore and the CRP Tk 2.29 crore. The project started on July 15, 2020.
