eSports, a beloved name among gaming enthusiasts worldwide, is fostering a burgeoning community in Bangladesh and beyond. Amongst the country's youth, adults, and even working professionals, eSports has gained remarkable popularity. Acknowledging the demands of this dynamic and innovative sector within Bangladesh, Discovery One Limited is orchestrating the nation's premier eSports tournament, the D1 Cup Bangladesh 2023, powered by bKash, which will be attended by more than 300 teams from all over the country.

While the qualifiers will be conducted online, the grand finale of the tournament is set to unfold at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). Alongside the climactic round and its prize distribution, a diverse range of entertainment programs will enrich the event. The competition revolves around three popular eSports titles: 'Valorant', 'CS: Go', and 'Mobile Legends: Bang Bang'. Among these, the first two are computer games, while MLBB caters to mobile gamers. Participants will engage in all three games, throughout the span of approximately one month.

The tournament's pinnacle will reward the top 32 teams with prizes across diverse categories. Additionally, a prize pool of around BDT 3 lakh awaits fortunate viewers and listeners. Beyond the monetary rewards, every victorious team and player will earn prestigious trophies and other alluring prizes. Collectively, the tournament offers a substantial prize pool worth BDT 40 lakh.

In a significant stride towards elevating Bangladesh's gaming landscape, bKash, the nation's largest mobile financial service, has emerged as a key sponsor for this milestone event.
