Dazzle Blue is an Inspiration to new entrepreneurs

Sharifa Akter Kona's Dazzle Blue has been in the fashion industry of Bangladesh for ten years in a mixture of dream and hard work. She was very confident that success would come because she never put any lack of hard work behind it. Dazzle Blue is now a family of 40 employees. Although it is a success now, the beginning was not easy at all. First, she had to give time to her family and later she had to overcome hundreds of obstacles as a woman.

Kona was very fond of child clothing. From that interest, she has done research on children's clothing while studying at the university. She realised the market of Bangladesh is filled with clothes from India, China and Thailand. At that time, she thought that designers could make such clothes in the country if they wanted and even export them. At present, she is concentrating on making children's clothes in her own organisation. She hopes that one day she will no longer have to import children's clothes.
