Dr. Sharif Ashrafuzzaman appointed as the new treasurer of Southern University

Dr. Sharif Ashrafuzzaman has been appointed as the Treasurer of Southern University Bangladesh. He was a former managing director of Meghna Petroleum and a consultant on oil and gas resources. 

University Chancellor President Abdul Hamid has appointed him to the post for four years. Following the order of the President, the Joint Secretary of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education Abdul Matin issued a circular in this regard. 

Dr. Sharif Ashrafuzzaman completed his master's degree in statistics from Dhaka University in 1983. He obtained his MBA degree from the Southern University in 1998 and he secured his PhD degree in 2014 from Jahangirnagar University on "History of Multinational Oil Marketing Companies, Their Business Activities and Exploration in Bangladesh". 

Dr. Sharif Ashrafuzzaman was born on 20 July 1958 in Narail.
