East West University welcomes freshers for Fall 2025

East West University (EWU) welcomed nearly 1,800 new students for the Fall 2025 semester through orientation programs across its Aftabnagar campus.

Each department hosted tailored sessions, guiding students on academic regulations, course structures, and available support services.

Among the distinguished attendees were Mohammed Farashuddin, chairperson of the Board of Trustees and founder vice chancellor of EWU; Shams Rahman, vice chancellor; Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik, pro-vice chancellor; and Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, treasurer. Special guest Rupali Chowdhury, managing director of Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd., also addressed the freshers.

The day featured a vibrant Club Fair organised by the Department of Student Welfare, showcasing 22 student-run clubs to encourage participation in extracurricular activities alongside academics.
