Fall-2021 orientation held at UIU

United International University (UIU) organised the Orientation Program for students of the Fall-2021 semester on November 12, 2021, at the UIU playground.

Students from School of Science and Engineering (SoSE), School of Business and Economics (SoBE) and School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SoHSS) took part in the orientation program.

Mr. Moinuddin Hasan Rashid, Honorable Chairman & Managing Director, United Group was present as the Chief Guest. The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of UIU Prof. Dr Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman presided over the ceremony.

The Chief Guest advised newly admitted students they should concentrate and be regular in their academic studies and classes after the global pandemic and adhere to proper health rules on campus.

UIU Vice-Chancellor said that acquiring various skills in the development of students as skilled human resources, he also called upon the parents to pay special attention to their children.

The Registrar (Acting) of UIU Lt. Col. Md. Fazlul Haque, psc (Retd) presented the academic rules of the University.

Prof Dr Md. Abul Kashem Mia, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr M. Rezwan Khan, former VC and Executive Director, IAR, Treasurer, Deans, Head of Departments, Directors, Faculty Members and Officials among others were present in the program. The vote of thanks was delivered by Md. Manjurul Haque Khan, Director, Directorate of Student Affairs, UIU.
