"Guess The Name" prize distribution programme held at The Daily Star

The Daily Star held the prize distribution ceremony of T-20 World Cup digital campaign "Guess The Name" partnered with Vision Android TV, at the Tawfiq Aziz Khan Seminar Hall, Daily Star Centre, 4th of July 2022 yesterday. With each of the top 10 winners of the campaign receiving gifts from Vision. Several personnel from both of the organizations were present at the ceremony to hand over the gift to the winners. Md. Atiqur Rahman, Head of Digital Media, PRAN-RFL Group, Rakib Ahmed, Head of Marketing, Vision Electronics, Shaikh Mahabubur Rahman, Brand Manager, Vision Electronics, Md. Mahadi Hasan, Brand Manager, Vision Electronics, Hasan Hasibur Rahman Rishat, Assistant Manager, Digital Media, PRAN-RFL Group, and from The Daily Star, Amit Pramanik (Head of Sales), Shuvashish Roy (Head of Business), Raisul Islam Bappy (Assistant Manager, Business Development) are among the few to be present at the prestigious ceremony to personally hand over the gifts.
"Guess The Name", a Digital Campaign launched on Facebook and organized by The Daily Star – Vision Android TV during the T-20 World Cup 2021 for the cricket fans of Bangladesh to test their knowledge and love for the sport with the help of an engaging campaign throughout the world cup. With more than 5000 readers participating to take part in a quiz of guessing random players' names from the different cricket teams of the world cup with a leaderboard designed for the top 10 to be selected as winners out of all. During the campaign period, five thousand and forty-three participants, being fueled by the temptation to cement their names on top of the leader-board participated. Making it one of the most successful and viral campaigns of The Daily Star and has glued its name among the list of many triumphs of the newspaper organization.
