InterContinental Dhaka named Bangladesh’s 'Leading Luxury Hotel'

InterContinental Dhaka has been named "Leading Luxury Hotel" in Bangladesh at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2025, held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Rezwan Maruf, director of sales and marketing, accepted the award on behalf of the hotel at the gala ceremony, says a press release.

This is the second time the hotel has received the Leading Luxury Hotel title, and the third consecutive year it has been recognised at SATA.

In previous editions, InterContinental Dhaka was awarded as Bangladesh's Leading Convention Center and Leading Meeting & Conference Hotel.

The South Asian Travel Awards is one of the region's most prestigious recognition platforms, honouring excellence in travel, tourism, and hospitality across Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, and Bhutan.
