NSU MBA Club hosts ‘BrandEdge: Be A Brand Maestro’ seminar
North South University's MBA Club held a seminar titled "BrandEdge: Be A Brand Maestro" on August 17 in partnership with Brand Practitioners Bangladesh.
The event brought together leading marketing and branding professionals, providing students and young professionals with practical insights into brand strategy, consumer connection and leadership in today's fast-changing business environment.
The chief guest was Professor Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of NSU. He was joined by Dr. A.K.M. Waresul Karim, Dean of the School of Business and Economics, NSU, Dr. Khandker Md. Nahin Mamun, Chair of the Department of Marketing and International Business, NSU, and Assistant Professor Dr. F. J. Mohaimen, Chair of the Department of Accounting and Finance and Faculty Advisor of the NSU MBA Club.
Speakers included Ileush Mirza Muhammad, Founder and Managing Director of Brand Practitioners Bangladesh; Zoheb Ahmed, Chief Marketing Officer of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC; Atique Akbar, General Manager of Brand and Marketing Communications at Seven Rings Cement; and Mahir Abid, Head of Brand and Marketing at Hometown by GoZayaan. They shared perspectives on brand building, industry transformation and adapting to the digital era.
A panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Rafiuddin Ahmed, Professor of Marketing and International Business at NSU and Director of the NSU Social Business Center.
MBA students, faculty members and industry participants took part in the seminar, which the MBA Club described as an inspiring platform for future business leaders. The Club expressed gratitude to the guests, speakers and partners for supporting the event.
