Prof Hasan Mahmud of NSU elected fellow

The Bangladesh Academy of Sciences, a renowned academic forum for Bangladeshi scientists and technologists, has elected Prof Hasan Mahmud Reza as a fellow, said a press release.

Reza currently serves as the dean of the School of Health and Life Sciences at North South University.

He received his PhD in biological sciences from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology in Japan in 2002, with a scholarship from the Japanese government. He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher and later joined the Faculty of Biological Sciences at NAIST as an assistant professor in 2004. In 2007, he joined North South University.
