Raidha Collections gets LEED Platinum certification

Raidha Collections Limited, a sister concern of Labib Group, has received LEED Platinum certification with 90 points for sustainable development, efficient use of electricity, gas and water, and environmentally friendly working conditions.

The certification was marked at a ceremony at Labib Group's corporate office, where Shazia Zaheen Alamgir (Raidha), director of Labib Group, accepted the certificate.

The event was attended by Salahuddin Alamgir (CIP), chairman of Labib Group; Sultana Jahan (CIP), vice-chairman of Labib Group; Mr Pankaj Kumer Karmaker, DMD (dyeing division); Major Md Mazharul Islam (Retd), DMD and factory head of Raidha Collections Ltd; and Major Md Naimur Rahman (Retd), director admin and HR of Raidha Collections Ltd.

This marks the third LEED certification for Labib Group, following earlier achievements by its sister concerns Sultana Sweaters Ltd and Nice Cotton Ltd.
