For one day, Sadia, an HSC graduate from Panchagarh, stepped into the shoes of Håkon Arald Gulbrandsen, Norway's Ambassador to Bangladesh.

Under Plan International's "Girls Take Over" campaign, she became a symbol of possibility -- an advocate for children's rights and gender equality.

Her journey began with the National Children's Task Force, where she rose from district president to national joint general secretary. Fuelled by compassion and her family's support, Sadia boldly challenged child marriage and injustice.

As ambassador, she met with UN Women's country representative, Gitanjali Singh, discussing youth leadership and girls' rights.

"I hope to inspire girls to rise above obstacles," Sadia said, "and make equality a lived reality."

Ambassador Gulbrandsen praised her saying, "Sadia's work to end child marriage and promote girls' education is truly inspiring. When girls are empowered, entire communities move forward."
