Seylon Tea presents 'Mohanayoker Gaan': A daughter’s tribute to Bulbul Ahmed

On the 84th birth anniversary of legendary Bangladeshi actor, director and producer Bulbul Ahmed (Tabarruk Ahmed, 1941–2010), his eldest daughter Tahsin Farzana Tilottoma is presenting a musical tribute honouring her father's timeless contributions to the film industry.

The tribute, titled Mohanayok er Gaan and presented by Seylon Tea, features six songs from films in which Bulbul Ahmed's performances left a lasting mark on audiences.

To mark the occasion, Seylon Tea is releasing the first track of season two — Duti Mon Jokhon from the film Sangini. The song remains a favourite among audiences across generations.

The first season of Mohanayok er Gaan, released in 2023, also featured six iconic songs on Bulbul Ahmed's birthday.

Season two aims to continue that legacy, allowing audiences to revisit the golden era of Bangladeshi cinema through the lens of a daughter's love and remembrance.
