Southeast University organises 'Pharma Fest 2025'

The event will provide a collaborative platform for pharmacy students to engage with industry leaders, academics, and researchers.

Southeast University (SEU) inaugurated its two-day "Pharma Fest 2025" at the university's Multipurpose Hall, bringing together more than 700 students from over 40 universities across Bangladesh.

The event will provide a collaborative platform for pharmacy students to engage with industry leaders, academics, and researchers.

The opening ceremony was attended by Muhammad Halimuzzaman, deputy managing director and CEO of Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd.; Ehsan Aziz, director of marketing at Incepta Pharmaceuticals; and Zakir Ahmed Chowdhury, chairman of the Department of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka.

The session was presided over by Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, vice chancellor of SEU, and conducted by Israt Jahan Bulbul, chairperson and associate professor of the Department of Pharmacy.

Also present were Md. Mofazzal Hossain, pro vice chancellor of SEU; Dewan Md. Farid, dean of the School of Science and Engineering; and Anwarul Islam, registrar of SEU, along with corporate leaders, pharmacists, industry experts, alumni, and students.
