Special service centre for child development launched

Nurture Nest, a special service centre for the development of children with special needs has been launched in Dhaka's Dhanmondi.

This centre, located on the seventh floor of the Shimanto Sambhar Shopping Complex, was inaugurated on February 5 (Wednesday) by renowned psychiatrists and child neurologists.

The programme was presided over by the chairman of the institution, Professor MA Salam. Managing Director ASM Morshed delivered a welcome speech.

Renowned psychiatrist MSI Mallick, the visionary of Nurture Nest, delivered a directional speech.

Professor Hedayetul Islam was the chief guest and Professor Jhunu Shamsunnahar, Professor Faruk Alam, Professor Nizam Uddin, Brigadier General (retd) Professor Kamrul Hasan, Professor Nahid Mahijabin Morshed, Mahbubur Rahman. Professor Mohsin Ali Shah and many others were present at the event.

Nurture Nest is a self-contained child development centre run under the supervision of Bangladesh Psychiatric Care Limited (BPCL).
