TEAM Group partners with Wagely to enhance workers’ financial wellness

The collaboration, signed between 4A Yarn Dyeing Ltd., a subsidiary of TEAM Group, and Wagely, marked a step toward integrating financial wellness initiatives for thousands of employees.

TEAM Group has partnered with Wagely, a financial wellness platform specialising in Earned Wage Access (EWA), to improve financial security for its workforce. 

The collaboration, signed between 4A Yarn Dyeing Ltd., a subsidiary of TEAM Group, and Wagely, marked a step toward integrating financial wellness initiatives for thousands of employees.

TEAM Group, which employs 21,000 people, has long prioritised sustainability and responsible business practices. 

"We have always aimed to set benchmarks not only in business standards but also in worker welfare," said Abdullah Hil Nakib, Deputy Managing Director of TEAM Group. "With Wagely's financial wellness services, we want to ensure our workers have access to essential financial facilities such as Earned Wage Access."

Wagely's platform allows employees to access their earned wages in real time, helping them manage finances effectively. "This partnership enables TEAM Group's employees to become part of Wagely's financial wellness program, fostering financial literacy and independence," said Noor Elahi, Managing Director of Wagely.

The agreement was formalised in the presence of executives from both companies, including TEAM Group's Brig. Gen. Muhammad Wasim-ul-Haq (Retd.), Executive Director; Mohammad Mohi Uddin Khan, Chief Human Resources Officer; Ezaz Ahmed, Chief Financial Officer; and Rajib Hasan, DGM HR Manager. Representing Wagely were Amit Pramanik, AVP of Business Development, and Cecilia Gomes, Manager of Business Development.

TEAM Group, established in 2009, has consistently led in sustainability, earning accolades such as the National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award and the Bangladesh Innovation Award for its 4IR smart factory solution, 'Nidle.' 4A Yarn Dyeing Ltd. is also a signatory of the UNFCCC's Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action and the United Nations Global Compact.

By integrating Wagely's financial tools, TEAM Group strengthens its commitment to employee welfare, setting a new standard for financial inclusion in Bangladesh's industrial sector.
