Trainers’ Association hold national conference

The conference sought to promote collaboration within the growing training community

More than 150 professional trainers from across Bangladesh came together on Saturday for the country's first-ever Trainers' Meet, an event described by organisers as a milestone for the professional development sector.

The conference, organised by the Trainers' Association of Bangladesh, carried the theme "When Trainers Unite, Transformation Begins" and sought to promote collaboration within the growing training community.

Association president K M Hasan Ripon urged participants to embrace unity over competition. "This is more than a gathering — it's a statement of strength, knowledge and purpose," he said.

The programme was moderated by the group's founder and executive vice-president, Yousuf Efti, and attended by board members and senior trainers. Among the notable guests were Dr Musharrof Hossain, Quazi M Ahmed, Ejazur Rahman and motivational speaker Ghulam Sumdany Don, alongside corporate leaders including Tajdin Hasan of The Daily Star and G M Kamrul Hasan.

Speakers highlighted the evolving role of trainers in shaping Bangladesh's human capital and emphasised the need to view training as a driver of social and economic change.

The gathering ended with calls for trainers to work collectively as part of a "rising force" in national capacity building.
