Walton announces 5-year warranty on inverter AC’s PCB

Walton has announced a five-year warranty facility for the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) of some locally manufactured air conditioner (AC) models.

In addition, customers are entitled to a 10-year guarantee on the compressor of Walton inverter ACs, while non-inverter ACs come with a 5-year compressor guarantee, including a one-year replacement guarantee.

These benefits are available from February 1, 2025.

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, an announcement programme was held at the Walton Corporate Office in the capital to announce the after-sales service initiatives.

The event was attended by Walton Plaza's Managing Director Md. Rayhan, Walton Hi-Tech's Additional Managing Directors (AMD) Nazrul Islam Sarker and Yousuf Ali, DMD Mofizur Rahaman Jakir, AC's Chief Business Officer (CBO) Tanvir Rahman, Deputy CBO Sondip Biswas, Head of Sales (Walton Distributor Network) Firoz Alam, Chief Service Officer Neamul Haque, and Deputy Chief Marketing Officer Zoheb Ahmed.

Alongside announcing its industry-leading after-sales service, Walton also introduced an AC Exchange Offer, allowing customers to purchase new Walton air conditioners at a 25% discount in exchange for their used ACs of any brand. Additionally, all Walton AC customers can now avail free installation services.

AC's CBO Tanvir Rahman said, "We have incorporated the world's latest technologies in our ACs, such as inverter, ionizer, and IoT-based smart features. Walton's R&I team is continuously working to introduce the newest features and technologies in ACs. We are highly confident in the superior quality and durability of our inverter AC compressors, which is why we are offering a 10-year guarantee on them and extending the inverter PCB's warranty from three years to five years."

Walton operates 82 service centers nationwide under the ISO-certified Service Management System to provide fast and efficient after-sales service. More than 2,500 service experts are engaged in these centers. Walton's skilled engineers and technicians also provide free maintenance service to AC buyers every 100 days.
