Bangladeshi technology giant Walton has announced a partnership with the Argentina National Football Team, becoming its regional official sponsor.

Through this agreement, Walton has secured exclusive branding rights for Argentina's national team in Bangladesh.

Under the one-year deal signed between Walton and the Argentine Football Association (AFA), Argentine stars including Lionel Messi and Emiliano Martínez will appear in various branding campaigns for Walton products.

The AFA announced the partnership on its official Facebook page on Thursday morning, sharing visuals featuring Argentine players alongside Walton's state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and products. Walton's name and logo have also been added to the official AFA website among other global sponsors.

Argentina, the reigning FIFA World Cup champions, will compete in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled to be held from June 11 to July 19, 2026. The partnership has generated widespread enthusiasm among Argentina's large fan base in Bangladesh, who view the collaboration as a source of national pride.

Zoheb Ahmed, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Walton, said, "There is immense enthusiasm and excitement among football fans, especially during the World Cup. This is the first time a brand from Bangladesh has joined with the Argentine national team. This partnership will act as a bridge between the Argentine football team and their fans in this region."
