Yamaha Riders Club honours Parisha

Yamaha Riders Club has honoured Parisha Akhter, a university student, for her bravery against a snatcher.
The club also assured her of standing by her to inspire other women at any situation, said a press release.
On July 21, robbers took mobile phone of Parisha Akhter, a master's student of Zoology department at Jagannath University, while she was in a traffic signal at Karwan Bazar, Dhaka.
Later in the same day, she caught the snatcher red-handed while he was taking another person's cellphone at the same place. Parisha also beat him up.
The incident was published by the media. It also went viral on the social media.
Yamaha Riders Club, an association of Yamaha motorbike riders, has branch in every district with about 3,500 members across the country. They participate in various activities on motorcycle as well as social activities.
