Yamaha Riders Club raises awareness on road safety

Yamaha Riders Club celebrated Friendship Day 2022 through a special event, with the slogan "Your awareness is my security", in different districts on August 7.

The objective of the event was to reduce road accidents, intensify road safety and establish a friendly relation with bus and truck drivers, said a press release.

As a part of the programme, they have discussed with the drivers at the bus and truck stands about road safety awareness in the country's 12 districts -- Dhaka, Rangpur, Bogura, Rajshahi, Tangail, Mymensingh, Faridpur, Madaripur, Barishal, Khulna, Jashore and Chattogram.

Moreover, the club members shared various awareness posts on social media.

Most of the road accidents happened due to drivers' carelessness, said a press release. If the drivers of all the small and big vehicles drive with full caution, the number of accidents will be reduced, it said.
