CU admission test begins on January 2

Chittagong University (CU) authorities have fixed the schedule for the admission tests of the 2025–26 academic session for first-year honours courses.

The tests will begin on January 2 and continue till January 12, 2026, CU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Prof Dr Shamim Uddin Khan told this correspondent.

The decision was made at a meeting of the university's admission committee today.

"If no unexpected situation arises, we expect to stick to this schedule," said the pro-VC.

According to meeting sources, the admission tests will be held as follows: A Unit: January 2, B Unit: January 3, C Unit: January 9, D Unit: January 10, B1 Sub-unit: January 5, B2 Sub-unit: January 6, and D1 Sub-unit: January 12.

Prospective students can submit their applications online between December 1 and December 15.

The admission tests for the 2025–26 session will be held simultaneously at Chittagong University, Dhaka University, and Rajshahi University campuses. However, tests for the B1, B2, and D1 sub-units will be held only at the Chittagong University campus.
