Orientation programme held at UCSI University

UCSI University in Banani, Dhaka held its orientation programme for new students of the September 2025 semester on its campus today, said a press release.

New students, their parents, and faculty members attended the event.

Special guests included Prof Mohd Kushairi bin Mohd Rajuddin from UCSI University Malaysia and Registrar Khalid Abdullah bin Abu Bakar.

Speeches welcoming the students were given by Prof Golam Ahmed Faruqui, dean of the Faculty of Business and Management; Prof Syed Akhter Hossain, dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Digital Innovation; Provost Chan Joe Jim; and two new students, Nusrat Nurjahan and Mashrukur Rahman.

The programme was hosted by students Shoshi Hossain and Md Ahnaf Fateh Hossain.
