Forget Weather, it's Eid

People celebrate Eid in a calm capital as many left the city to spend the holidays with their families in other districts. The weather did not help the city dwellers. The holidays were partially marred by intermittent heavy rains throughout. Still, people found windows of opportunities and some waded through waterlogged areas of the capital to visit the handful of places the city has for them to visit. After the Eid namaz, many went to Shishu Park with their children, Dhaka University area, Dhaka zoo and Bangladesh Air Force Museum. Wearing new clothes, they ate out and tried to have a good time.
