10th death anniv of Shafiur Rahman today

Today is the 10th death anniversary of Shafiur Rahman, a pioneer of the movement for promotion of classical music in the country, according to a press release.

He was the founding general secretary of "Shuddha Sangeet Proshar Goshthi". Shafiur Rahman dedicated his life to the cause of classical music.
