2 former Biman officials held for ‘embezzling Tk 118cr’

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) arrests two former officials of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from Dhaka for allegedly embezzling of around Tk 118 crore.

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today arrested two former officials of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from Dhaka for allegedly embezzling of around Tk 118 crore.

The two arrestees are – Ali Ahsan Babu, former marketing and sales director and Iftekhar Hossain, former deputy general manager of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

The arrests were made following a case was filed recently against the duo, sources at the ACC said.

ACC Deputy Director Nasir Uddin filed a case in the Integrated District Office Dhaka-1 against the duo and 14 others.
