20 passport middle-men jailed

A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) today sentenced 20 middle-men at Passport office in Dhaka to jail for different terms.

Executive Magistrate Md Sarwar Alam handed down the order after a team of Rab-2 arrested them from in front of the Passport office this afternoon.

The court punished them on the basis of their confessional statement before the court, Md Sarwar Alam told The Daily Star.
