Identities of eight of the nine suspected militants, who were killed in police firing during an operation by a special team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police in the capital's Kalyanpur area early today, have been confirmed.
Identities of eight of the nine suspected militants, who were killed in police firing during an operation by a special team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in the capital's Kalyanpur area early today, have been confirmed.
Another suspected militant, Hasan, who is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital receiving bullet in the police firing, while talking to the UNB correspondent, confirmed names of the eight deceased to be Robin, Ovi, Sabbir, Atik, Sohan, Imran, Taposh and Iqbal.

However, police did not reveal anything about the deceased militants.
