AL man’s eye injured as stone hurled at running train

An Awami League leader was injured when miscreants hurled stones at a running train on Dhaka-Chattogram route this morning.

Jahirul Islam Chowdhury, AL president of Boalkhali pourasabha unit of Chattogram, suffered injuries to his eye, our Chattogram staff correspondent reports.

He was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital around 9:00am, the correspondent said quoting Assistant Sub-Inspector of Chittagong Medical College Hospital police outpost Alauddin Talukder.
