Biman staff stage demo for job regularision

Staff of Biman Bangladesh Airlines staged demonstration to realise a two-point demand including regularisation of their jobs.

Biman's CBA President Moshikur Rahman led the three-hour agitation that started around 10:30am in front of motor transport department at Biman's head office at Balaka Bhaban in Dhaka.

Over 100 irregular staff of the airlines took part in the protest programme.

The protesters also said they want cancellation of the provision, under which the airlines is recruiting people through outsourcing company.

Currently several hundreds of irregular employees are working at the National flag-carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
