Bring my son to book but first find him
Desperate to know where her son is, Jorina Begum, who has been bedridden for last 10 days, said, “If my son did anything wrong, bring him to book. But, please bring him back to me”.
Tarikul Islam Rony, a master's student of management studies at Chittagong University (CU), was abducted from Chittagong city's Muradpur area on March 24 by unknown miscreants.
Jorina fainted several times since after she heard about the abduction of her younger son Tarikul. Out of four brothers, only Tarikul is academically inclined and is the only hope for the poverty-stricken family that lives in Jamalpur district.
Jorina last talked to Tarikul on March 22. The mother keeps the door always open hoping that her son would arrive anytime.
Tarikul's father Abdul Hosen is roaming everywhere in Jamalpur district in search of his son, said the mother, adding, “Please help us find him [Tarikul].”Expressing dissatisfaction, victim's elder brother Sanowar Hossain Sani said 10 days had already passed but police could not rescue Tarikul. Following a case filed by Tarikul's classmate Al-Amin with Panchlaish Police Station, police so far arrested two persons.
Sub-Inspector Polash Gosh, investigative officer (IO) of the case, said police have identified four others and they would be able to rescue Tarikul within a short time, said the IO.
