Fire at courier service office in Keraniganj

A fire broke out at a courier service office in Dhaka’s South Keraniganj area this afternoon.

The fire broke out at the one-storey tin-shed office of Janani Courier Service around 4:00pm, Monirul Islam, an official of Fire Service and Civil Defence, told The Daily Star.

Nine units of firefighters were trying to douse to the fire till filing the report around 5:00pm.

There are no casualties, he said, adding that cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
