Fire at Panthapath furniture warehouse

A fire broke out at a warehouse of a furniture market in the Dhaka's Panthapath this afternoon.

However, no one was injured.

The fire originated around 1:15pm at a warehouse opposite to Bashundhara shopping mall, according to Fire Service and Civil Defence official.

Five fire fighting units rushed to the spot and douse the fire after 20-minutes effort, the fire service headquarters said.

The cause of fire could not be ascertained when this report was filed. Further details were awaited.
