Man caught while stealing baby at DMCH

A man was caught red handed while attempting to steal a baby at Dhaka Medical College Hospital last night.

Shahajuddin, 35, has been handed over to Shahbagh police, Bangla daily Prothom Alo reports.

Imranul Islam, a sub-inspector of Shahbagh Police Station, told the daily that Shahajuddin was caught when he tried to steal an eight-month baby from a DMCH ward.

The father of the baby has been undergoing treatment at the hospital, the police officer said.
