Man killed in Dhaka road crash

A motorcyclist was killed this evening after being hit by a bus at Kanchpur bridge in Dhaka.

The deceased was identified as Krishna Chakrabarty, 38, an employee of a pharmaceuticals company.

The accident took place in Buspatti area around 5:30pm, leaving him critically injured, police said.

He was whisked off to a local hospital and succumbed to his injuries on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 7:00pm, said Sentu Das, assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of DMCH police camp.
